Happy Birthday Kel!

It's Kel's birthday tomorrow, and yesterday our Antenatal Mums Group had a surprise birthday cake......

...... (technically a whole lot of little cakes), and a bit of a celebration.

Matt, Paul, Beth and I had put together a gift for Kel that was made almost entirely out of synthetic materials. Yes it was a whole bunch of thongs. I'm pretty sure Kel liked her thongs, and I think Elliott will learn to love his little pair.

But when this photo was taken he seemed more interested in what appears to be a very concerning coffee cup. Or perhaps he was worried because the person holding him was not a Mum at all!! Yes our mothers group was infiltrated yesterday by a DAD!! Paul even joined in the Dad bashing session. Beth is currently on teachers prac and Paul is being Mr Mum. We were sorry to hear that Paul was feeling quite exhausted, but also secretly a little glad. Anyway, it was a nice afternoon and now Kel has a pair of rubber thongs for each day of the week.
